Unresponsive Gamecube Controller? - 06-23-2008

I'm using my Gamecube controller on the Wii and it frequently stops working for about 1-2 seconds. I thought it was because I was using a Wavebird so I switched to the cord. It still randomly stops working.
Ex. C-stick doesn't work in Brawl, Shield automatically goes off.
A, R and L buttons (The ones you hold down) do not respond sometimes in MK Wii, and when I was playing Paper Mario 2, the control stick stopped working.

Is anybody else getting this?

Try plugging the control into a different slot.
I don't have that problem; I use the Classic.

It does this to me occasionally in Brawl , but it usually cures it self. I usually unplug it and plug it back in and it works fine.

I use the gc controllers a lot, and I use all four slots, and nothing like this happened to me.
