Brawl can be fun alone? Smash Bros was built to be a four player button mashing frenzy. The characters are basically handed to you on a silver platter if you play through the horrendously boring SSE. The pacing in Brawl is not as fast as Melee and there are still clone characters (Lucas and Ness anyone?).

I just like Mario Kart Wii because you have Time Trials for your single player enjoyment. Unlocking the characters and karts/bikes are actually a challenge. And the game has ranks and actually counts wins/losses so it is more competitive the way I see it.

Even though I am in the [RB], I say brawl because you can ACTUALLY turn items off. And you-know-what isn't conser a stage.

Well you can turn items off playing offline in MarioKart Wii. Online, however, could just be an honor rule system. And since snaking is removed, no item games are more balanced.
