Warhammer 40k: Squad Commander coming to DS

The ever popular tabletop game is finally making its way to the DS. There were PS2 games, Xbox games, but probably the most well known is Dawn of War and its numerous expansions for the PC.But finally, the popular series is heading to Nintendo's handheld.


Warhammer: 40k: Squad commander will allow players to command either the Space Marines, or the polar opposite, the Chaos Space Marines. There will be online functionality, allowing you to play against strategists from all over the world. I think this looks decent. If they get the online play working properly, it could be a very popular game.

Well, I knew about this months ago, and I'm not a huge fan of RTS games, but there's no denying the mass of nerds that will pick up this game. Hopefully that will give it some nice Wifi edge.

I used to play that game around 9 years ago. It was fun painting the models, but I was too dumb to understand the game rules...
