Chest on Mercay Island Question

Does anyone know how to get this treasure chest that is in the Mercay Island town that is on top of a cliff in near the town shop? :confused:

Actually I think you have to go to the screen whaere the Ocean king temple is then near the entrance to that section blow through the wall that has a crack. once inside shoot the eyball and a bridge will appear. there is an exit on the other side. outside follow the cliff wall back to town and wahla.

I believe that way opens up the ability to have Tag Mode.
