I add Friend Code and friend adds me but nothing in Friend Requests screen - Help!!!

Hi,

I've added some Friend Codes via [Add Friend] option.
Some friends have added my Friend Code via [Add Friend] option.
Problem is that none of my new friends are listed.
On main screen, it shows "Total Friends: 0".
Going into [Friend Requests] shows "You currently have no Friend Requests."
What am I doing wrong?
WiiConnect24 is enabled in the Wii main menu.

You can only send request friends of your friends.

I have a question too if I have a friend online can both of us enter a random public match? Because I know you can do that on xbox live so is it possible on Nintendo wi-fi?

You can join a friends match but I don't think you can party up:confused:

Friend requests:
If you have a friend on your Wii Console's friend roster,you can send a request to them.If you are playing with a friend of your friend,you may also send them a request

Join game system:
You can join a friend's game,whether its public,or private.However,there is no guarantee you two will be paired up
