I seem to find this kind of strange. When a friend invites me into his party it always says "waiting for party leader" and "querying potential host" while waiting to start the game. But when I invite a friend into my party it always says searching for games. Does anybody know what this means???

It's simple...it is letting you know what is gong on. It says waiting for party leader cuz it is waiting for party leader to make a move and pick a mode. Then it says quering host cuz it is searching for a game to put you in. When you are host it doesn't say these things cuz you already know what you are doing.
