Storyline
Your travels take you to the small village of Moga, where there have been multiple earthquakes lately. The villagers seem to think the sea monster Ragiakuls is at fault. It is your job to figure the mystery out.
Gameplay
The objective in Monster Hunter is simple: you are a hunter who must take up quests to slay monsters all throughout the game's fantasy universe. By doing this you'll receive both honor and glory as well as an array of fabulous items made from your kill. There are 3 different types of quests:
- Hunting: The majority of quests fall under this category. The task is as the name implies; you track down, provoke, and kill a monster or a number of monsters.
- Gathering: These quests involve retrieving various items such as monster parts or herbs.
- Capture: You're still out to catch beasties, but you've got to weaken them and catch them with a trap instead of killing them.
Quests can be completed both alone through single-player mode and with friends using WiFi connection.
- Uses the Wii remote, nunchuck, and classic controller to duel against various monsters.
- Wii remote motions used for various skills, weapons, etc.
