Storyline:
The story is set several years after Rune Factory. The Norad Kingdom is at peace after Raguna defeated the Sechs Empire's plans. Now, after several years at peace, a new adventure is about to begin in the village of Alvanna. Kyle is ready to travel across the world seeking adventure and excitement but just before he's about to leave a strange lady appears. Her name? Mana.
Overview:
There is a lot of new things added to the game. Instead of pressing start to access the main menu, you can simply touch an icon on the touch screen. There's also a bar on the top screen to show the amount of water in your watering can.
This game is also multigenerational. This means you play different generations like in Fable. The story is separated by two parts. In the first half of the game, the player plays as Kyle. In the second half, the player will play as Kyle's child.
Control:
You can choose to move your character with either the stylus or the D-pad You swing your weapon's or tools with the stylus or B button like in the first game.
Cast:
Now this isn't a Harvest Moon spin-off without townspeople. There a lot of people to include in this so I'm not adding pictures... I'm sorry.
Bachelorettes- Mana is the first girl you meet in Alvarna Village. She is very energetic. She lives with her father at the town's general shop, Pumpkin. Mana plays a similar role to Mist from the original Rune Factory.
- Alicia is a fortunate-teller who make accurate weather prediction and she has the ability to change it.
- Julia is the smart girl and everyone in the village idolizes her. She also runs the bath house.
- Rosalind de Sainte Coquille is the prodigy like Bianca was in the first game. She is a polite yet spoiled girl. She lives at the Viviage Mansion in Alvarna.
- Dorothy is a small and quiet girl. She is seen at the clinic a lot. She is always holding a small dog doll.
- Yue is a foreign peddler and she sells kitchen supplies to you in the second half of the game.
- Cecilia comes back for the second time. She is a half-elf and works as a maid in the de Sainte Coquille mansion.
