Overview:

This game is like a kiddy version of The Sims. This game is like every of other Animal Crossing game but this time it has the big city and some other features. The city offers a lot of activities to do.

Gameplay:

Animal Crossing: City Folk's gameplay is based upon a typical Animal Crossing.


Features:

Let's start with the wifi compatibility, players can design clothes and patterns, write letters and post messages on the bulletin board for each other, or invite three of TRUSTWORTHY friends to visit your town using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. This game will also support the use of the new WiiSpeak microphone so you can talk to your friends (WiiSpeak & Animal Crossing City Folk are bundled together). Animal Crossing City Folk now includes many holidays like Christmas, Halloween and etc. With these holidays comes an event like on Halloween you can go trick or treating or hunt for eggs on Easter. If you don't like these events, take a bus to the city (driven by Kapp'n). In the city you can do many things like, watch a show at the theater or check out the sales at Gracie’s boutique. Players can redo their hairstyles, and replace their face with that of their Mii, at Harriet’s beauty salon. You can change the color of your shoes too by visiting Kicks (that's an awesome name) the shoe shine skunk. Up to four players from the same household can play in the same town and build it up. You can express your style by customizing your town, your house and collecting bugs, fish, fossils, art, furniture, clothes and accessories. One of the goals in Animal Crossing is to be cool with all your neighbors and players. You can do this by talking, exchanging letters, gifts and favors. Download content is also available

Controls:

From the demos I watched, I think you can only play with the Wiimote and Nunchuk. To move your character point to the direction to make the character walk, and point farther away to have them walk faster. To interact with other characters, you have to walk up to them. I personally think that is going to be a problem.
