One question: Price?
I'm to lazy to check.
Now for the follow-up ramble.
I think that this will be such a great addition to the
Wii. Nintendo already nailed motion control (Well until 3rd parties started publishing rubbish games that completely butcher it). Adding something for your feet to do is only going to make things so much better. Take for example Shaun Whites Snowboarding. That is going to be an excellent game! I mean the concept works so well with the balance board. Assuming that the producers don't screw us over by giving out B/S content (Because I already know gameplay will be the best) the game will sell.
I mean honestly, Nintendo you
have the technology,
use it! Games on the
Wii by far have the best technology (Graphics aside). The problems is that publishers are half assing their games. They are reducing the content value, for a reason I don't know. We are in the new generation, I don't want to unlock "Artwork" I want new costumes, custom maps, ect. Producers are using technology well, (Graphics aside) they just need to put more into the content aspect. I realize the
Wii disc can only hold so much memory...that's why you include more then 1 disc in games.
That's my opinion. The Nintendo
Wii can easily beat out heavy hitters like MGS4, Halo 3 and Gran Turismo 5 by thinking logically.
1.) Utilize the
Wii's technology properly, don't port games.
2.) Pump your graphics into the right places. A shooter game, put detail into the guns your carrying, because they are immediately infront of you and are what is going to be noticed first. You can add detail to the ceiling after.
3.)Add content, and man up. Don't give me a game that is trying to be hardcore and label it T. Nintendo is trying to make their games for everyone. Guess what adults who like M games are part of that group, so please them (Because obviously Nintendo has covered 5 year olds and 80 year olds). I want to be able to build my own maps, not look at artwork I already saw on IGN.
4.) Make it online, I don't care if it's petting your pony, make it online. It makes games better (However don't start sacrificing stuff to make it online and fail twice). This is the new gen. if I'm stuck playing another lame shooter, I at least want to do it online so I can kill off my boredom by making the lesser kids suffer (If the game was M rated and online then I'll be hooked for months).
I got sidetracked, but I ranted. That's what I came here for. Goodnight
