First of all, if you have read the latest magizine of nintendo power, I think one of the msjor owners of nintendo stated his thoughts on currents games today:People are trying too hard to make games realistic. Now it is me talking. Remember on the Atari when you came home from school or work, you could escape to another world to be an astronaut, a robot, or even a military soilder? Remember on the NES, when you could be a fire ball giant plumber stomping on koopas and goombas and saving the princess, and without anyone saying THESE GRAPHICS SUCK, IM NOT PLAYING IT! Just think about it and post what you think.

Yes, i agree, but technology is expanding, nintendo will get left behind if their graphics fail behind mircosoft, and sony. in the future, do you think most game consoles with have bad graphics? most likely, no, it will be yet again MORE realistic, if nintendo doesn't complete those standards, they will mostly likey fail... well thats my opinion and 1st post :D

well yeah but they are making games realistic to compete with the ps3 and xbox360
as a lot of people know the ps3 games have good graphics but a lot of the games suck
but people buy the ps3 games they look better
but personally i dont want to see cars in high def i just want to race

you must remember though that those grpahics were top class back then. Are they now? No they arent.
