Actually they released the same time. The success on the wii had nothing to do with it's success on the computer.
Note: It might have came out a little bit after the wii version but it was a planned release that wasn't influenced by wii sales.

World of goo is perfect. A little too hard. maybe not worth 1500 wii points but it is a good game 9 out of a 10.
