I would hold out on getting the WiiSpeak unless a game you know you really want comes out and is compatible with it. As of this date, only Animal Crossing: City Folks and the upcoming The Conduit are the only known games that supports it.

you have to buy the wii speaker and in it comes a ticket.
then you go to the wii shop channel and put in the ticket number.
so you can download it.
